Desert Trumpet.

We are not selling this product. This page is for informational purposes only.
A funny-looking perennial with small pink flowers on a 3' stalk. The stalk is inflated in the middle. This plant ranges from the drier areas of California to Arizona and Colorado. Hoover says it is an annual, Munz says perennial; so far here it has lived longer than a year. The buckwheats are very important butterfly plants and one of the pillars of their communities. The flowers, leaves and seeds are all used by many of the smaller animals. Click here for more about California Buckwheats
