We are not selling this product. This page is for informational purposes only.
Western Dichondra is a small perennial that works well for a cool shady patio in from the coast or a windswept patio next to the coast. The only problem is that it really is a perennial and it really goes dormant. It undergoes summer dormancy and will reappear in the spring, or after winter rains, in milder coastal areas. The leaves are very beautifully shaped. Plant this with evergreens or under shrubs and you have a perfect match. Like laying in a carpet of small violets.

Dichondra occidentalis tolerates seaside conditions and sand.

Foliage of Dichondra occidentalis is stressdeciduous.
Flower of Dichondra occidentalis has color white.
