Orange Honeysuckle grows on north slopes and creek and river banks from the very north of California to British Columbia and Montana. For you southern California folks Orange Honeysuckle looks like a cross between Lonicera hispidula and L. interrupta. It has proven to be stable in the nursery here. Give part shade or cool sun and regular water. Do not expect Orange Honeysuckle to perform well in interior heat or dry locations, it is a softy.Honeysuckles? Click here for more.
