(Haplopappus ericoides) A 3-4' perennial that is covered each year with bright yellow flowers. It grows on the dunes and old dunes in pure beach sand. People plant real heather in the beach towns and it looks like hell; this one loves sun, salt spray and beach sand.

Ericameria ericoides tolerates seaside conditions and sand.

Foliage of Ericameria ericoides has color white and is evergreen.
Flower of Ericameria ericoides has color yellow.
