Dudleya lanceolata is a one foot tall and wide succulent, native to central and southern California, with yellow-red flowers. Lance-leaf Dudleya tolerates clay as long as summers are dry and does best in clumps on rocky slopes. Hardy to about 12 F., as handled 15 F., with no problem. A hummingbird plant.

Dudleya lanceolata tolerates sand, clay and serpentine.

Foliage of Dudleya lanceolata has color silver and is evergreen.
Flower of Dudleya lanceolata has color yellow.
