The fall color on Cornus sessilis can be quite good. - grid24_24
A deciduous shrub to 15 feet, northern California, part to full shade, good soil moisture, good background for wood garden, combine with redwoods, ferns etc. Use for north side deck in shade. It looks like a woodland plant. Cold hardy to 5 degrees F., in December 1990.



Foliage of Cornus sessilis turns a different color in the fall, has color silver and is deciduous.
Flower of Cornus sessilis has color white.
