Artemisia pycnocephala, Beach Sagebrush, is a perennial-shrub, 2ft silver mound. The softest plant I have ever seen, after a couple of years this little bush needs to be pruned back and allowed to grow back into it's soft blanket. Beach Sagebrush is nice for a quick fill. It will tolerate other conditions but loves beach sand next to the ocean. Tolerates salt spray and salinity.

Artemisia pycnocephala tolerates seaside conditions, salt and deer.

Foliage of Artemisia pycnocephala has color silver, is evergreen and has fragrance.
Flower of Artemisia pycnocephala has color yellow.
