Mahonia nervosa occurs from about San Jose North in both the coast ranges and Sierras. - grid24_24
(Berberis nervosa, Mahonia nervosa, Mahonia glumosa, Odostemon nervosa) There are many different common names for this Mahonia, including Oregon Grape, Longleaf Mahonia and Cascade barberry. Longleaf barberry grows in shady canyons and moist north slopes from Monterey north into British Columbia.


Mahonia nervosa is great for a bird garden.
Foliage of Mahonia nervosa is evergreen.
Flower of Mahonia nervosa has color yellow and is edible.
