We are not selling this product. This page is for informational purposes only.
Vinegar weed, or Turpentine weed is an annual (We do not sell) occurs along the inner sections of the coast ranges from British Columbia to Baja. In our area it is common in the Salinas Valley, through the Western Carrizo Plain and into the Temblors.. In other words, ten miles in from coast, to the western edge of the San Joaquin Valley. Beekeepers call this 'Blue curls. Twisselmann says the cowboys put some of the leaves into their bedding to suppress fleas. (Wouldn't a bath do the same?). This is one of the many native plants that separates the people that should be here from those that shouldn't. I have no idea why city folks move to the country and then complain about the smelly plants that live there.

Trichostema lanceolatum tolerates clay.
Trichostema lanceolatum is great for a bird garden.
