Parnassia palustris var. californica

(Syn. Parnassia californica) A plant to be included in a meadow or along a high alpine stream. Circumpolar. The California form having smaller flowers that are cream colored (with less green). It is not a grass. The flower looks like a buttercup, the leaf a plantain and the plant is a saxifrage.
