Haplopappus junceus

Rush-like Bristleweed and Rush Chaparral-Star.

(Syn. Eriocarpum j., Sideranthus j., Machaeranthera j.) A shrubby damn yellow composite from dry chaparral/coastal sage scrub slopes in San Diego County and Baja. It looks kinda like a funny looking tarweed. This plant is for collectors or restoration projects.
