Silene verecunda verecunda

San Francisco Campion.

We currently do not grow this plant.

A little rare and endangered weed that grows in the sand on the San Francisco Peninsula. It is very stable in our location and is actually sreading. The flowers are ok but it always looks like it is going to flower beautifully but never quite makes it. The foliage is light grey green and the flowers are pink.

Silene verecunda verecunda tolerates salt and sand.

Silene verecunda verecunda's foliage type is deciduous.
Silene verecunda verecunda's flower color is pink.
