Scutellaria austinae (Syn Scutellaria siphocampyloides), Skull Cap, is a little perennial that forms a clump a foot wide. The flowers are deep royal blue. Native to much of the mountains of Calif. up to 6000-7000'. Does best with regular water. Dies back in drought. It is stable in containers and in the ground.
