Prosopis pubescens

The pods are tight little spirals on a shrub or small tree, flowers yellow, deciduous 15-25'. We've found it to be less hardy than Honey Mesquite by 5 or more degrees. This is a very nice looking tree. I have seen it look in place in a formal desert garden.
