Limber Pine Pinus Flexilis slow growing conifer. It has been used for bonsai. It will tolerate sun along the coasts and at higher elevations. If happy a tall tree. In cultivation 20-30 ft. It froze here in Feb of '89 when it was 95 degrees during the day and 12 degrees at night. It is native in some bad climates. On Mt. Pinos where the southern stand of Limber Pine Pinus Flexilis exists it can get to -20 F. and have frost anytime, but the daytime temperatures are rarely if ever above 50 F in the winter.
