Perennial herb, small, 12" white flowers, plant seems to disappear in summer heat, for woodland garden, north slope, full shade, a plant for mossy areas. It was native on our site but was lost after the post fire seeding by CalFire. syn. Lithophragma heterophyllum, Munz listed it as heterophylla, Jepson and Hoover listed it as L. heterophyllum.



Foliage of Lithophragma heterophylla has color green and is deciduous.
Flower of Lithophragma heterophylla has color white.

Communities for Lithophragma heterophylla:Chaparral, Mixed-evergreen Forest and Central Oak Woodland.
