Iris macrosiphon

Ground Iris and Bowl-Tubed Iris.

Bowl-Tubed Iris has a weak rhizome and 1-2 ft. greenish-gray leaves, yellow to purple flowers. Native to north central California and likes full sun to part shade with regular water. This iris does best with some organic matter, leaf mulch, on soil.



Foliage of Iris macrosiphon has color green-gray and is stressdeciduous.
Flower of Iris macrosiphon has color yellow.

Communities for Iris macrosiphon:Mixed-evergreen Forest, Northern Oak Woodland, Southern Oak Woodland and Yellow Pine Forest.
