Ribes aureum var. gracillimum Golden Penny

Golden Penny, Ribes aureum gracillimum, is a bigger and better Golden Currant. It grows to 4 ft. tall and 3 ft. wide with larger yellow flowers and good sized berries.
I have no idea if our Ribes aureum aureum ever flowered here but this plant seems to have the best properties of both sub species. Ribes aureum aureum really has trouble flowering here, Ribes aureum gracillimum grows here in shade. In sun it burns. Not Golden Penny, it's happy here and will that sun, and it flowers.
