Bert's Blue Iris douglasiana came out of customers property in Pebble Beach. In coastal environments it will grow to six inches tall on coastal bluffs with salt spray. Out the wind and with a little water Bert's Blue will reach maybe 2 ft. Flowers are small that the common Iris douglasiana but with a rich deep blue. This always is grown in limited numbers so the price reflects that.

Iris douglasiana 'BB' tolerates seaside conditions, clay, serpentine, seasonal flooding and deer.
