California coneflower is a large showy perennial that grows in seeps or meadows from 400-7800 feet from the middle Sierras into southern Oregon and down along the California coast ranges into Del Norte county. Mix with Lilium pardalinum and Rhododendron occidentale to make your own mountain meadow. All you need is a partially shaded, cool seasonally moist yard to knock them dead with your glorious bounty of beauty.
