Rhamnus californica 'Leather Leaf'
Leather Leaf Coffeeberry.
This coffeeberry has dark leaves that are little thicker than a regular coffee berry. The form is more moundy, similar to 'Eve Case' and should be effect mixed with 'San Bruno', 'Eve Case' and maybe 'Sea View' along with Arctostaphylos densiflora forms.
Selected by Roger Raiche on San Bruno mountain(?). Very limited information about it's origin. The plants seem stable here. They tolerate some shade, heavy soils with seasonal flooding.
