Island Hazardia is a grey perennial with unusual foliage and flowers. No one knows what to do with it, but the collectors have to have one because it's so weird. Use as a rock garden plant or plant in a rock wall. syn. Hazardia canus, Diplostephium, Corethrogyne detonsa, Corethrogyne canus, Hazardia serrota, Haplopappus Traskae, Hazardia cana.

Hazardia detonsa tolerates seaside conditions and clay.
Hazardia detonsa is great for a bird garden.
Foliage of Hazardia detonsa has color silver and is stressdeciduous.
Flower of Hazardia detonsa has color yellow.
