Ceanothus lemmonii is an evergreen, spreading shrub or large scale groundcover. Native to northern California where it likes partial shade to full sun. Trinity Ceanothus doesn't tolerate poor drainage but likes to have its foliage washed off. A beautiful looking plant, with white bark, blue flowers. It's native to an area of 35 inches of rainfall so it is not very drought tolerant but works well in coastal or mid-elevation mountain gardens. Click here for more about Mountain Lilacs.
