Synonym: Hoita orbicularis. Picture a patch of clover, but the foliage is huge, each 3 leaf cluster is 2-3 inches across. The patch forms a 1 foot high mat that can commonly be 10 ft across. Useful in a seep that's not a seep, the water level is a little low for sedges and rushes but too wet for most bushes and trees. Rosa, Symphoricarpos, Ribes, Solidago and Salvia spathacea.
