Trichostema parishii

Parish's Romero and Mountain Blue Curls.

1Gal Container (Up to 0)
Mountain Blue Curls, Trichostema parishii, has a open flower arrangement with delicate, dainty flowers on a small bush. Mountain Blue curls is also more drought tolerant than Woolly Blue Curls while also tolerating many garden conditions. Mix with Diplacus 'Ramona', Salvia clevelandii 'Alpine' and some of the desert mallows (Sphaeralcea spp.)to make a show stopper. Some additional companion plants are Artemisia tridentata, Eriogonum fasciculatum var. polifolium, Sphaeralcea ambigua, and Ericameria arborescens. Not for low spots that have standing water in winter but tolerates most soils, but prefers decomposed granite. Likes part shade tolerates full sun inland as long as it's not a hot reflective wall. Likes coastal sun. A very nice little bush for the adventuresome gardener with a small garden. The flowers demand a picture every time I walk by.
