San Diego Sweetpea is native to San Diego Co., from the coastal areas up to the desert edges. It usually is hiding under Coast Live Oak(Quercus Agrifolia) and is commonly associated with Keckiella cordifolia, Poison Oak, Rhamnus ilicifolia, and Diplacus puniecus.
