A beautiful annual or short lived perennial(like every perennial in the trade) of the much of the desert areas of Southern California. This picture was taken around Ridgecrest, but I have seen it at the I-5 interchange at Kettleman City, and South of Shandon also. Fragrant and produces masses of flowers. This plant disappears after flowering, nothing there. I doubt you will every see it in commercial seed packs, it would be nice if a seed grower dealt with it. We grow it off and on, the plants are usually big for the pots and flowers appear all summer long.
