Ambrosia psilostachya

Western Ragweed.

A weedy , perennial, native with spreading rhizomes that grows in disturbed areas of native plant communities,. Use as an indicator of a site in trouble. Found in roadsides and dry fields, common, throughout California. Not recommended for a garden. Pollen may be an allergen.
