Pluchea sericea

A 5ft evergreen (gray) bush. It grows in sandy washes where there is moisture. Native from the San Luis Obispo county into the Deserts to Texas.. The flowers are lavender and relatively showy. This one has great potential in those 2ft. wide flower beds that you have no idea what to fit in. The gray foliage has a soft shimmering iridescence.

Pluchea sericea tolerates salt, sand, clay, no drainage and seasonal flooding.
