A weedy prostrate or erect, hairy annual, in sandy washes, roadsides, dry flats, with tiny, unnoticeable flowers. Found in CCo, SW, D to CO, AZ, Baja, CA. Flowers appear purplish (actually the sepals). You'll commonly find it in a disturbed site associated with European weeds. DO NOT USE in RESTORATION or landscaping!!!

Lepidium lasiocarpum tolerates sand and seasonal flooding.
