Arctostaphylos Pacific Mist

No current common name.

1Gal Container (Up to 0)

Pacific Mist manzanita is gray-green sprawling ground cover of hybrid origin that is very fast growing for a manzanita. In a coastal garden it can be a real winner. Low, gray and sprawling on a foot or so tall. Loves beach sand, but tolerates clay.  Perfectly drought tolerant in beach sand and along the coast. Needs once a week water in interior, and you may need to prune it occasionally to keep it neat in the inland heat.

Pacific Mist was planted as the entrance ground cover for Stanford University.
