Desert Marigold is a short lived perennial that grows to 2 foot high and lives in the deserts of the Southwest. Its flowers look like yellow marigolds on a light green marigold plant. Easily rotted with too much water. Needs good drainage and no organic mulch. The perfect habitat is a light loam soil of moderate fertility, full hot sun, and a rock for each plant.
