Phacelia californica

California Phacelia is an attractive little perennial with curling purple flower clusters. Great for butterfly gardens especially in the Bay area. California Phacelia is also native to Los Angeles county where it grows in chaparral and oak woodlands. Phacelia california is wonderful for a small pollinator garden. It works nice with Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Eriogonum grande rubescens, Aster chilensis, Solidago californica and Salvia sonomensis.


Phacelia californica is great for a butterfly garden.
Foliage of Phacelia californica has color green-gray.


Communities for Phacelia californica:Chaparral, Coastal Sage Scrub and Southern Oak Woodland.
