Pale swallowtail, Papilio eurymedon

The Pale swallowtail is similar to the Western tiger swallowtail but lighter in color.
Host plants include members of the Rose family including Prunus, Malus, Holodiscus, and  Crataegus. Also the Rhamnaceae family , including Ceanothus, Rhamnus, and the Betulacea family, including Betula and Alnus.

Flowers used by the adult swallowtail butterfly.

The adult swallowtail butterfly feeds on Monardella species, Sages and Columbines and other native flowers.
