This native landscaping was installed in San Luis Obispo (by Dante D'Alfonso about 10 years ago. Almost no water other than a dust wash off every month or so. Arctostaphylos 'Carmel Sur' is in foreground, Toyon and a slightly frosted Western Redbud behind.
