Giant Coreopsis looks like a tropical tree with 3 inch yellow daisies on top, a very different plant, not very tolerant of adobe or poor drainage, grows in sand, hard to hold in 3 inch pots, usually available in gallons, cold tolerant to around 25 degrees F. Native to ocean cliffs and sand dunes SLO Co. to Los Angeles . Very drought tolerant, do not over water.
