Description
Canyon live is an evergreen tree that grows to 40'. The leaves of this oak can be toothed or smooth, (sometimes on the same tree). They are dark green on top and fuzzy gold-white underneath. It is native to canyons and is widely distributed throughout California, it likes sun, moderate water. It is more beautiful than live oak. This tree grows well in most of California and the West. I would expect it to grow well in much of the east and Europe. Oaks.
