Description

California interior buckwheat ia as Eriogonum fasciculatum but grayer and tougher, hardy to -20 . Foliolosum and polifolium overlap in many areas. Most notably around Lebec, Palmdale, Lancaster and just east of us. The buckwheats are very important butterfly plants and one of the pillars of their communities.
