Sandhill Skipper, Polities sabuleti

Sandhill Skipper  is a little tawny butterfly that live on grasses. The larva eat the grass and then roll a grass leaf up into a pocket like nest as their cocoon. Native to most of the Western United States and Baja. This little butterfly is everywhere after a year of weedy grasses.Sorry about this old photo, camera quality is getting bettter faster than I can find new pictures
