Common Branded Skipper, Hesperia comma


This little butterfly lives on grasses as a larva then turns into a mighty butterfly pollinating all sorts of flowers. The Common Branded Skipper lives in much of the Western United States and Canada.



This flavor of Common branded skipper has been called Hesperia comma tildeni, Tilden's Skipper.These little skippers sip nectar from many flower typesskipper coming in for a landing on a woolly blue curl.
