A very stable low growing manzanita with green foliage and red bark. Sun to part shade, a little extra water in spring, boulder mulch, through in a small pine tree(P. Jeffreyi or P. attenuata) and you have a ponderosa planting. We keep waiting for ours to grow up, it is a shorty. Maybe 2 ft. tall and 3-4 ft across.
