Rubins Blue is a small umbrella shaped evergreen shrub that grows to 8 feet or so. Foliage is dark green and shaped like a Skylark, or Joyce Coulter. The flowers are deep navy blue and showy. This Ceanothus is a selection of Greg Rubin (Californias Own Landscape) in Escondido. Parents were probably Ceanothus cyaneus Sierra Blue and the hybrid Ceanothus Concha.
