Common name: Joshua Tree.

Description

A tree to 20' (not in our life-time). They need sun, perfect drainage and little or no summer water. Native from So. Calif. to Utah. There are many forms of this plant. It is a very important wildlife plant in its range. Jaeger said that 25 species of birds use these as nest sites.
