A little 1' tall by 3' across perennial that has bright pink-purple flowers. It likes good drainage and some summer water. It looks like the non-native verbena in many ways. It is native to 4000-6000' in the desert southwest where the summer thunderstorms give it a little summer water. It seems to be garden tolerant and fairly stable in the nursery. It is not as drought tolerant as its desert environment would lead you to believe.
