Bluewitch is a 1-2' perennial with 1"flowers bright blue, with yellow centers and blooms most of the year. It has silver-gray foliage. Native in chaparral, Juniper-Oak woodland in central Calif. coast ranges. It is native in a 7-15" winter rainfall area, in alkaline clays to acid decomposed granite. At its best it is a round mound of bright blue on light grey. This one is native a few miles east of us. A show stopper in a dry rock garden in towns like Fresno or Sacramento.
