An annual with bright pink flowers. It grows in the Mojave and Colorado Deserts in sand. You'll usually find Sand Verbena in weed-free openings in loose sand. Commonly mixed with Oenothera species, Baileya spp., Coreopsis spp., and Phacelia spp. If you live in the desert areas and can get it established, control the weeds and it will be back every year.
