Description
Davidson's Bush Mallow is a six to eight foot tall perennial that looks like a large hibiscus bush with two inch pink hibiscus- like flowers. The plant looks like a hybrid between Lavatera assurgentiflora and Malocothamnus fasciculatus and is rare in California. Davidson's Bush Mallow likes full sun and sandy soil. It has gray foliage and is evergreen. For a large gray accent shrub that also attracts mini-wildlife and hummingbirds, and is soothing to the eye, with its soft gray foliage and the most beautiful pink flowers ever, Davidson's Bush Mallow will do.
