Description
Native from S. Dakota to southern California to B.C., A 1 ft. perennial with 2-3 inch, pale lavender flowers. Grows at higher elevations, in mountainous areas of California, emerges through snow in spring. Grows in sunny, open, moist areas such as meadows, surrounded by forests.
