(Syn. Dugaldia hoopesii) A 1' perennial herb with yellow daisy-like flowers 3 inches across native to wet meadows, high elevations, Sierra Nevada. It needs part-shade to sun, regular water. It will take a great deal of water if needed, it does fine in a 'normal' garden. Great back east or in the north. I think this plant could live in Siberia if it had the water.
Helenium hoopesii Owlsclaws tolerates seasonal flooding.
Helenium hoopesii Owlsclaws is great for a butterfly garden.
Helenium hoopesii Owlsclaws's foliage color is white and type is deciduous.
Helenium hoopesii Owlsclaws's flower color is yellow.
