A flat perennial strawberry with gray leaves. It ranges in the wilds from Calif. to B.C. to Wyo.. In Calif. it ranges from 4000 to 10000+ feet in the Sierra. It is establishing itself in our greenhouses and in the pot areas in full sun or shade. As long as it has water it does not seem to care. Treat as a regular strawberry plant and use as a small groundcover. We have seen it a couple of times growing along streams, in seeps or below snow fields.
